Job Description:

Location: Remote / Flexible
Type: Part-time / Full-time (depending on workload)
Reports to: Wisko Media Producer (James)
Collaborates with: Head of Design and Design Team

Role Overview

The Social Media Content Manager is the strategic content creator and manager responsible for developing engaging social media content ideas, crafting clear creative briefs, and managing the content calendar. This role focuses on content planning, storytelling, and audience engagement while collaborating closely with the Head of Design who executes the visual design.

Key Responsibilities

Develop creative and engaging content concepts aligned with client goals and brand voice.
Write compelling copy, captions, and detailed content outlines for posts, stories, reels, and campaigns.
Create thorough creative briefs and mood boards for the design team to execute visuals seamlessly.
Plan, maintain, and manage social media calendars and posting schedules.
Monitor audience engagement and feedback, using insights to adjust content strategy.
Work closely with the Head of Design to ensure content vision and brand consistency are met.
Track social media performance metrics and prepare simple reports with actionable insights.

Requirements

Proven experience in social media content creation, copywriting, or content strategy.
Strong storytelling and writing skills tailored to social media platforms.
Ability to translate ideas into clear, actionable creative briefs.
Good understanding of social media platforms, trends, and audience behaviors.
Organized with excellent project and time management skills.
Collaborative mindset and ability to work closely with designers and other team members.
Basic familiarity with social media analytics tools is a plus.
